Welcome to the Pollards Hill Residents’ Association (PHRA) — your community hub for local news, events and resident support in Pollards Hill and Norbury.
Founded in 1988, we are proud to be the longest‑serving residents’ association in Norbury, dedicated to strengthening our neighbourhood and keeping residents informed.

At a glance a few reasons to join PHRA
Founded in 1988 our core objectives remain the same to this day. To Protect, Maintain and Enhance.
We organise events to improve the local environment and community cohesiveness, for example litter picks and bulb planting. We also invite guest speakers to our general meetings.
We organised the restoration of the viewers plaque on the hilltop,
We have a discount scheme accepted at a number of local shops and restaurants.
For Croydon Council we are normally a first point of contact in consultation exercises for our area.
We monitor local planning applications and relevant planning news
We provide information, advice and assistance through our newsletter, regular emails and this website.
We organised Planters for Pollards Hill Park and maintain them.
We organised the project delivery and installation of the community defibrillator at Pollards Hill Park.
We organise defibrillator training for our members.
The PHRA committee is always looking for more talent. Please go to our why & who page to see the vacant committee positions. The working committee currently consists of eight members. There is much satisfaction to be gained from serving your neighbourhood as a residents’ committee member – why not give it a go?

PHRA covers the area around Pollards Hill Park and includes the following roads: Beatrice Avenue, Beech Road, Briar Road, Cranbourne Close, Ena Road (between Norbury Court and Pollards Wood Road), Forrest Gardens, Highdaun Drive, Hill Drive, Pollards Crescent, Pollards Hill East, Pollards Hill North, Pollards Hill South, Pollards Hill West, Pollards Wood Road and Tall Trees.
